Pastor Jim Tweeton was born in 1969 in Moorhead, MN. He grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated high school in 1987.
It was during the summer of 1991 that he received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.
In 1993, he started attending Fargo Baptist Church, where he met his wife, Laurie. They were married in September of 1994, and have four children.
Pastor Tweeton lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area where he was a professional painting contractor for 15 years.
Pastor Tweeton completed Bible College in two phases. He attended two years at Dakota Baptist Bible Institute, and three years at Cornerstone Baptist Bible Institute, receiving a diploma of Gospel Ministry.
It was then during this period of time when God began directing his steps back to North Dakota, and more specifically to Jamestown.
